Floyd Mayweather “I Will Not Loose To Pacquiao”

It all depends on what weight the fight is set at. Mayweather want heavier gloves and want the fight at a bigger weight. Mayweathers camp want it to take place at 154lbs whereas Pacquiao’s camp want it at the usual 147lbs.

I think Mayweather wants the fight at the higher weight to try and drain some speed out of Pacquiao’s punches which is very much like Mayweather. Everybody he has fought in his career has been slower than him apart from zab judah and de la hoya. Both of these actually troubled Mayweather which is why Mayweather, in my opinion, now has his fights carefully planned so he can pull of a victory.

At 147lbs it would mean Mayweather would have to fight Pacquiao in his comfort zone which is not the way Mayweather likes things to go. He likes to get as many things in his advantage before he goes into a fight. Also, Pacquiao would still possess all the speed he currently has which could cause Mayweather a lot of problems.

Mayweather has never fought outside of the USA which baffles me considering the massive names he has fought but again it helps him out with judging going to be his way. He will always have the home advantage.

Another massive factor to consider is the referee and his style. We all know that Manny is going to go into this fight trying to set a pace and work Mayweather. Will the referee let Pacquiao do this or will Mayweather have Joe Cortez on hand again to stop the constant barrage of punches just like what happened in the Hatton fight.

Also, we don’t really know how heavy a punch Mayweather can take because he has never fought someone fast enough to catch him whereas Pacquiao is fast enough to catch him. Pacquiao also possesses the power and Mayweather may be found out. He might have a weak chin after all.

In my opinion I would want Pacquiao to win because of his determination and heart and his entertainment but I can’t see it happening. The only fight I can see happening is Mayweather rope hugging and Pacquiao going after him. Pacquiao will catch him a few times but I dont think it will be enough to impress the judges. This is the perfect fight for Mayweather to adopt his running technique. Its blatantly obvious he wont trade with Pacquiao as he would get leathered. I think Pacquiao will get frustrated and Mayweather will take full advantage of that and maybe get a late knockout or win on points.
